Franklin Middle School

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Responding to the crisis of racialized public education disparities compounded by the pandemic and social and civic unrest,  Dr. Betty Webb and Reverend Coleman concluded that the best approach would be to adopt a school. As the ED of HUCDC, Rev. Coleman initiated a partnership of churches and nonprofits to establish a community partnership advisory group (CPAG) to partner with the school. The initial core leadership group included Huntington Bank, Westwood Community Church, Waite Park, HUCDC, and Wayman.

Our CPAG does its work by leveraging the human and material resources of our constituents and other community assets including communities of faith, government agencies, private sector businesses, and individuals.
